ವಿಶ‍್ವ ವಿಖ್ಯಾತ ನಾಡಹಬ್ಬ ಮೈಸೂರು ದಸರಾ-2023 ಮಹೋತ್ಸವದ ಅರಮನೆ ವೇದಿಕೆಯ ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿತರಳಬಾಳು ಕಲಾಸಂಘದ ಜಾನಪದ ಸಿರಿ ಕಲಾತಂಡಗಳಿಂದ ಮಲ್ಲಗಂಬ, ಮಲ್ಲಿಹಗ್ಗ, ಭರತನಾಟ್ಯ, ಯಕ್ಷಗಾನ, ಜಡೆಕೋಲಾಟ, ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನಗಳು ವಿಜೃಂಭಿಸಿದವು.  "ಮೈಸೂರು ಅರಮನೆಯನ್ನು ತರಳಬಾಳು ಮಠದ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಗೆದ್ದರು! " ಎಂದು ಪರಮಪೂಜ್ಯ ಶ್ರೀ ತರಳಬಾಳು ಜಗದ್ಗುರುಗಳವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಸಂತೋಷವನ್ನು ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಇದರ ಹಿಂದಿರುವ ಮನಮಿಡಿಯುವ ಪ್ರಸಂಗವನ್ನು ಕುರಿತು ಹೀಗೆ ಬರೆದಿದ್ದಾರೆ:

Sad Part of the Successful Performance in Dussehra

I had been to Mysore unexpectedly on the 20th October with a group of hundred students of  our Mutt school and college, their parents and staff.  They were selected by the State Government to perform cultural programs on 21-10-2023 evening in front of the Mysore palace on the eve of the world famous Dassehra festival. 

I had no such plans to go with them. But one of the talented girl student about 15 years old unfortunately died the previous night due to lack of hemoglobin. The students were all depressed and were weeping. They were not in a mood to give the performance and they were about to cancel the program when I came to know.

Realizing that they will be losing a lifetime opportunity, I tried to infuse courage in them and decided to accompany them. Reached Mysore late night and I am now back in Sirigere.

Our students won the admiration for their wonderful performance in front of  the Mysore palace.  But the audience did not know the sad part of the successful performance! 

May the Soul of the ill fated girl rest in Eternal Peace!
